Let’s face it, being able to welcome someone back into your life, when it seems like they never left, can feel a little strange. But that’s exactly how it feels with Âme – a mainstay of the club scene, composed of Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann. Case in point: they certainly don’t tire of taking to stages big and small with their DJ sets and live performances across the world. However, Asa is their first original material in three years.

This particular track sees the duo at their finest, delivering another example of a peak-time dancefloor cut that’s much more than the sum of its parts. Asa is grand, joyful, euphoric, and sonically adventurous. It leans into repetition but no part ever stagnates before everything culminates in a symphony of bold synths, pounding rhythms, and intertwining melodies. It’s a spectacle that might (or might not) be the musical notice of something much bigger to come.
