Alignment - Nothingness EP [KNTXT]

Charlotte de Witte's powerful KNTXT label continues its streak with another great EP, this time from the talented Italian Alignment. The Berlin-based producer presents four epic tracks that follow up on his Time EP, released earlier this year.

Over the past five years, this artist has built a solid discography of electrifying techno, earning a global reputation among genre connoisseurs. Despite the global pandemic, he has continued to release hot material that proves he used his extra time at home wisely. Alignment can create both old-school tinged bangers and sophisticated futuristic techno tracks, and he makes it clear again with this magnificent new EP. According to him, the record "reflects more the 'sentimental' moments during these difficult times. Still, you can also expect hypnotic and psychedelic vibes that will make you dream of dancing again until the early hours of the morning."

Charlotte adds: "Since I started playing these tracks, people kept asking for track IDs. They always stood out and became one of the highlights of my sets. These tracks are made to destroy any dance floor. A true masterpiece from one of the most exciting artists of the moment."

The EP opens with Nothingness, a bent and powerful techno groove, with high-pressure kick drums and tearing synths breaking away from the percussion: an irresistible wall of sound. Injection takes the intensity even further, with bigger, devastating kick drums capable of shaking the foundations of any club, while rave synths raise arms in the air.

Reverberated maintains the level with an absorbing techno cut, illuminated by laser synths cutting across the track from above. Dark and disturbing voices weave into the rhythm, adding layers of mental intensity. Finally, Sensory Deprivation closes the EP with a dark and urgent tone, driven by tense synthetic motifs and relentless energy.
