It's well known that Cocoon Recordings has a soft spot for tracks that stray from the usual—let's be honest—often reduced and uniform Tech-House, and the last nine years in the label's history have amply demonstrated this.

The duo Flatner/Lopazz, originally from the Rhein-Neckar region, is once again shaping up to be a strong candidate to leave their very particular mark on the summer of 2009. After all, Alex Flatner, manager of Circlemusic, has been igniting dance floors as a DJ and producer for 10 years now, with releases on labels such as Harthouse and Black Nation. Meanwhile, Heidelberg native Stefan Eichinger, aka Lopazz, has made a name for himself with releases on imprints like Output, International Deejay Gigolo Records, and, primarily, Get Physical.

Together they celebrate a very funky vision of percussive Techno, generating high-impact moments in prime time, especially through lascivious vocals. "I wanna take you all night long," indeed. And you can hardly find a better definition of the perfect and powerful symbiosis between bass-driven club stompers and precisely dosed pop elements than "It's time to make up your mind."
