Aero - Buried In Noise EP [Planet Rhythm]

New week, new release on Planet Rhythm, same old class of techno. Aero is no stranger to this label and hails from Dublin's Northside; originally from Baldoyle, he's been cooking up his own vision of techno for some time. It's always driven by pounding rhythms, but with very careful synth work that makes it much more than just DJ tools.
"Buried In Noise" features urgent, anxious melodies that light up the percussion, while "Velvet Kiss" is deeper, a nocturnal prowler. "State Of Burn" hits with steel loops, and "Scarred" layers synths that seem on the verge of overflowing, held together by a hypnotic and precise drum beat. "The 242" closes with an astral anxiety and a sense of constant push, as if it never stops.
