Adriatique - Ray [Afterlife]

Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, the Swiss duo who record and perform as Adriatique, sign Afterlife's third release of 2018, named 'Ray'. This two-track single follows their 2017 remix of Tale Of Us & Vaal’s ‘Monument’ and marks the beginning of Adriatique’s collaboration with Afterlife Recordings.

We first became acquainted with 'Ray' on Tale Of Us’ sublime fabric 97 CD, where its soaring melody closed the mix on a euphoric high. It stands out as a captivating dance floor composition, whose principal synth line is sure to create many memorable moments on the floor. ‘Voices From The Dawn’ takes a more subtle approach to the same exciting effect. Driven by enveloping grooves, it sporadically reveals itself in animated waves of life.

These two tracks not only showcase the diversity of Adriatique’s production approach, but also demonstrate their great prowess in both crafting hypnotic high-impact grooves and forging epic late-night anthems.
