Adam Beyer & Raxon - The Signal [Truesoul]

Adam Beyer shares his first Truesoul release in eight years, collaborating with Raxon on a rare collaborative outing. This year has been one of the most prolific of Adam Beyer's career, so it seems fitting that it ends with a return to Drumcode's sister label, Truesoul. His last appearance on Truesoul was in 2015 with the masterful quartet of rollers 'Time Flies,' which stood out during the Ibiza summer at the time. Meanwhile, Egyptian-born, Barcelona-based Raxon has contributed a couple of EPs to Truesoul, 'Heliopolis' and 'Cosmic Cure,' since his debut in 2017. A Raxon production is something special—otherworldly and colorful, inspired by the vastness of the universe. The pair took their time exchanging ideas until Beyer shared the main bass groove for the Day Mix of 'The Signal,' and the collaboration immediately started to take shape. The track builds around a captivating call-and-response synth, while a mix of raw drums with one foot in electro, cosmic, and psy, drives the development. The Night Mix increases the intensity, adjusting the main melody for energetic, late-night dance moments.
