British electronic music pioneers Graham Massey (founding member of Manchester's legendary 808 State) and Brian Dougans (the mind behind acid house landmark Humanoid and one half of The Future Sound of London) join forces for their first collaboration, In Place Of Language, released by Belgian label De:tuned.

Both 808 State and Humanoid helped shape the early British rave and acid house movement. Here, Massey and Dougans channel that legacy into a perfectly balanced four-track EP, radiating warmth and energy, drawing on over three decades of experience within electronic music.

Drawing inspiration from key elements of the 1989-1991 era while incorporating a contemporary sensibility, the duo merges their distinctive sonic identities into a sound that feels both timeless and forward-looking.
