49th Floor is a pseudonym of Stefano Curti, a member of The True Underground Sound of Rome, originally used for a single release in 1992 titled Night Passage. Vibraphone has always been able to fold time onto itself, connecting those glory days of Italo house with the present, so it feels natural for a new 49th Floor 12” to arrive, even after more than 30 years since the last one. Zamani is presented in four distinct versions offering a wide range for DJs with an exploratory spirit: from the enveloping, pad-laden drive of the Body Mix, to the raw acid onslaught of the Magic K Dub Remix, to the dreamy Deep Mix and the vibrant Dub Mix. Whichever spin you choose, the quality remains intact.
