In 2021, Sean released his iconic remix of Fire Island's 'Shout To The Top' on his Plastique label, which sold out in a week on vinyl, with a second edition repeating the same success. 'Waiting For The Sun' is his first 12-inch vinyl release on his label since then.

Sean tells us:
“I wanted to make the most positive, most uplifting, most euphoric track I could possibly create. One morning, whilst walking my dogs, this nursery-rhyme like phrase kept going round in my head, so I rushed home and started writing it down. Musically it's taken me a year, on and off, to get it just right, with the right musicians and singers. I wasn't in a hurry, I just wanted to make the perfect record for me, to shape what I had in my head and put it down exactly as I imagined it.
Some might see it as a summer track, but for me it's more a song about hope and the certainty that, no matter how dark the moment you're in, the next day can totally turn around and bring light back into your world.”
