On the A-side of this 7”, we find his version of Pick Up The Pieces, recorded with his band, where he transforms the track into an explosive samba-funk, laden with percussion and horns. This gem was originally released on his LP Som Quente É O Das Neves in 1969.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn the B-side, an undisputed Brazilian funk classic on Mr Bongo. Crushing drums, intense vocals, and piano overflowing with energy in just over two minutes. Som Três was a trio led by the prolific pianist, arranger, and producer César Camargo Mariano.
