Soon after, Wells began recording and touring as a lead vocalist alongside artists such as Lou Rawls, M.F.S.B., Leon Huff, Jean Carne and Dexter Wansel.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1979 she joined Roy Ayers’ band and was eventually featured as a vocalist on ‘Turn Me Loose’ and co-wrote the track ‘Let’s Stay Together’ from his 1982 album “Feeling Good”. Recruited by in-house producer Nick Martinelli, Terri signed as a solo artist with Philly World Records in 1983 and released her one and only full-length album, “Just Like Dreamin’”.
