He had already stopped by in 2023 with the excellent Keep The Mystique, a collection of 15 brand new, twist-filled tracks built from carefully selected samples. Since then, he has continued to fuse jazz, funk, afro, beats, dub, soul and reggae on Paper Wave and Magic Wand.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo Be Happy opens with gentle, sun-drenched grooves, enveloping keyboards and dreamy pads that evoke a hazy Mediterranean sunset. Nostalgic soul samples tug at the heartstrings, while its relaxed vibe is perfect for golden hour moments. Orange Surprise is a magical piece of calm downtempo, with nods to romantic vocals. It's built on broken and gentle rhythms, and flows between ambient soul and relaxed electronica, ideal for introspective moments or winding down at night.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKeep On Trying changes direction with more texture. The synths are crystalline, the pads sweet, and the bassline meanders unevenly, while soft male vocals add a sensual touch.
