The mysterious Professor Supercool is in reality an alias of Dr. Rob, famed for \u003cem\u003eThe Blow Monkeys\u003c\/em\u003e, who produced the tune together with a veteran and legendary DJ from the Northern Soul scene, \"The Real Hector\", resident at the famed Wag Club.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOriginally part of the band's album \u003cem\u003eSpring Time For The World\u003c\/em\u003e, it first appeared as a promo-only 12\" special in 1989 with limited info, like a trial balloon to \"avoid preconceptions.\" The fear was ungrounded. Like the band’s other huge dance floor hit and Balearic favourite, \u003cem\u003eLA Passionara\u003c\/em\u003e, a year later, it was championed by the DJs of its day. Besides Graeme Park at the Hacienda or Paul Oakenfold, it was also picked up by master mixer Tony Humphries, making it a regular in his radio sets on KissFM and at Club Zanzibar.
