His musical understanding and need to explore new directions took audiences on a personal journey from jazz and classical musicians to early electronic pioneers, always with a tone of his own.

Bjorn always felt the need to escape norms, to grow and not repeat himself, but to investigate and create.

The first record on Tech-Nology was born under the alias El Far: Couples of Lonely Dancers.

“Bjorn is perhaps the most talented electronic producer Denmark has ever had” and was celebrated as a child prodigy by the media in the 90s.

An insider with new knowledge about Bjorn told us:

“Yes, I think it’s good music… It’s not for everyone, I must add, but it's definitely quality music for those who connect with this sound… sometimes too deep… which works a bit against it, because you really need to listen to it… you can’t just gloss over it, because then you don’t grasp its soul… and that makes it harder to sell; but if someone like that was a bigger name, it would sell much better…”

We love Bjorn and agree. We have tried to sell Bjorn and his music for over two decades. But you cannot capture Bjorn, you cannot own him: he only makes music for himself. You can jump on the ride if you want, but don't expect every ride to be fun; sometimes it hurts.

Bjorn is hard to sell, but we don't think he would actually care to sell much better even if he had the option to take a more commercial approach, because Bjorn is about not selling out: he is a purist at heart, making musical documents for a few.

Bjorn is bigger than superficial success and streaming numbers. He made jingles for Nokia, toured and played on the main stage of Roskilde, Denmark's largest festival, and still doesn't care… and that's important if you want to make interesting music that endures into the future.

When Bjorn met Mester Jakobsen, head of the Tech-Nology label, he had already released on numerous underground labels, took the leap to a major, and it all turned out, more or less, to be a big disappointment. So he presented Tech-Nology with a completely experimental album under the name Prinz Ezo: The Body Offset.

We loved it then, we still love it now: a true collector's item and a secret tool for DJs.

Today Bjorn continues to break habits and rules, doing the same but in new ways. He has reached another layer of understanding, adding even more nuances and textures to his post-genre compositions.

Welcome to Prinz Ezo’s second album on Tech-Nology: KURIER.

Why Kurier?

Because Bjorn went to explore the Berlin underground shortly after the first two releases on Tech-Nology. He left his roots to search for greater meaning, broader understanding, to compose truly mature sounds and understand his abilities, at that point where you understand why you must cross borders, still incognito, making smuggled sounds, always in transit: between cities, between cultures, between worlds, time and space.

Not restless or rootless, just always on the move, discovering new landscapes.

But now Bjorn is settling down—in tune with the music—to find not inner peace, but a total balance with the music he holds within.

Prinz Ezo is raw, minimalist electronic narrative that refuses to freeze. The tension builds and releases: feel the energy and drama of the last two decades, if you dare to make the journey.

Almost twenty years after Prinz Ezo’s first album, it has finally been possible to make the music for those who never arrived.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0583/1239/2867/files/image_e8e45049-a50f-46b0-a48f-f9fa0fca6e2e.jpg?v=1770347640
