It’s hard not to love the original in all its futurist glory, with a solid four-to-the-floor bedrock, but with a pulsing neo-disco bassline. Imagine a lost Giorgio Moroder classic being re-interpreted by Jeff Mills in PurposeMaker mode. Delano Smith’s remix, however, updates it for modern palates, ironically, by looking even further back in time to the early 70s Kraftwerk blueprint, from whom he borrows some very austere but elegant synth sounds and a touch of electro syncopation. Choose according to your mood, both deliver admirably.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0583/1239/2867/files/image_4f894104-b867-40ac-b79f-15f500a0f222.jpg?v=1779934482
