Copies of the record flew off the shelves by the thousands locally, and its international recognition, propelled by XL Recordings licensing in the UK, solidified its status as a genuine underground classic. Jim explains the inspiration: “I researched trains at the public library,” he reveals. “Amongst them, the Electroliner, a train line in the Midwest, caught my attention.
