With countless releases and remixes on Jiscomusic, Endless Flight, Crue-L, Sleazy Beats, Wolf Music, 7 Inches of Love, and Home Taping, his eclectic and passionate DJ sets have earned him a cult following around the globe. You might describe him as one of the big names in the slo-mo disco edit scene, with his lush, deep, and generous grooves.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eL.J Simon met Eddie C when they were both residents at Neue Odessa Bar in Berlin. Simon showed Eddie his original versions over lunch one sunny afternoon in 2020, and Eddie then took the parts into the studio to restructure and adapt them for the nights he was playing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlgerian vocalist Idriss traveled a long and challenging road before arriving in Berlin, making his way from Algeria. His journey first took him to Turkey, from where he took a boat to Greece, with more people than the vessel could carry. The boat seemingly sank in the middle of the sea, but the Greek authorities managed to rescue him. Idriss had to endure even more adversity before finally making it to the German city.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was in Berlin that Idriss met L.J Simon, forming a strong and joyous bond. Both shared a passion for boogie-funk, and so the collaboration began.
