During this time, he dedicated himself to promoting and growing the label, but a string of releases on Fresh Trip, Immerse, Modern Urban Jazz, Cylon Recordings, Renegade, and Exit Records, along with the recent upload of unheard material to Spotify, finally re-ignited his desire to release new music again.

Chris delivers four tracks that some of the people closest to him chose and pushed for him to release. Covering a variety of styles, this release reflects Chris’s musical loves throughout his life.

Dragons In the World, the title track and a statement of intent, is a pure piece of jazz-laden breaks that defines the Inperspective sound. It starts and doesn’t let up, showcasing the more progressive side of his musical arsenal. Inperspective veteran, Profane, insisted this tune saw the light of day, and here it is.

Clock Tower was inspired by his trip to Croatia, after hearing Caibire and Dbridge’s set at Hospitality on the Beach. A slightly inebriated Chris went home, fired up his laptop, and this track came out straight away. He played it the next day to warm up with the Hospital Records crew, and staff member Ed Priest suggested the tune deserved to be put out. Dexta, manager of Diffrent Music and Med School, backed up that opinion. The track is reminiscent of an older version of Chris's sound – a dense, laid-back, half-time monster.

Amber's Bush is a tune with an old-school vibe that came about quickly and naturally. Label family member Alex Jones' enthusiastic response when hearing it live confirmed to Chris that it had to be on this EP. A smooth yet hard-hitting roller that doesn't let up once it gets going. The bassline makes you think of whale sounds, that's how clear it is.

You Understand is the result of a THC-laden session with his old friend and fellow black-glasses Junglist, Will Miles. It’s hypnotic, flowing, and reflects the style many associate with Chris. A perfect closer for this most welcome return.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0583/1239/2867/files/image_786a31ab-ed0e-46bd-a0fa-09a554f80c5b.jpg?v=1742344962
